OUR STORY

Fifty years of Korean automation

LS Electric goes back to 1974 and is now one of Korea's largest industrial automation builders, out of Anyang. The drive line, renamed from LSIS in 2020, runs from the palm-sized M100 to the S100 with Safe Torque Off and on to the H100 built for pumps and HVAC. The S100 and G100 arrive with the EMC filter and DC reactor already inside, and the IP66 washdown versions hold up in food, beverage, and wet processing.

Before you buy

Is the S100 rated for washdown?
The S100 offers an IP66/NEMA 4X version up to 30HP, which suits washdown and wet processing. Larger frames are panel-mount IP20.
What is the difference between the G100 and S100?
The G100 is the general-purpose drive for everyday motor control. The S100 adds higher starting torque, PM motor control, a built-in DC reactor, and the IP66 option.
Do LS drives include a built-in EMC filter?
Yes. The S100 and G100 ship with an integrated C3 EMC filter as standard, with a C2 filter available as an option.
